Hi! Currently, I am a postdoc researcher at the University of Zurich (and also affiliated with the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at Sofia University).
My academic work has mainly touched on asymptotic questions arising in different probabilistic models. More broadly, I try to learn and understand ideas in mathematics, usually stemming from questions in probability, and do my best to have a positive effect on students’ growth.
Following the rapid development and rather surprising success of large language models in science, I also often find myself thinking about their philosophical and ethical implications. I would guess that my thoughts on these questions are rather amateur and perhaps naive, but I believe that we should all try to be aware of what is happening and, in one way or another, participate in this transformation.
